The Centre for Planetary Sciences at UCL/Birkbeck welcomes you to "An Evening with the Planets".
Join us for drinks in UCL's marquee in the beautiful Quad and hear six acts featuring the brightest stars from the Centre for Planetary Sciences.
Find out about our closest companion, the Moon, our plans to explore Mars and Jupiter, what the Rosetta comet landing tells us about where planets came from, what the weather's like on planets orbiting other stars, and how the Twinkle exoplanet mission is sprinkling stardust on physics in schools.
The event will also feature the premiere of the Planet Waltz, a musical interpretation of Pluto and Charon to coincide with the impending arrival of the New Horizons space mission in July.
An Evening with the Planets will be presented by Steve Cross, Head of Public Engagement at UCL, comedian and founder of Bright Club and Science Showoff.
