Institute for the Physics of Living Systems

MSc in Biological Physics

The MSc in Biological Physics will provide students with the skills needed to work as part of multidisciplinary teams doing cutting edge research in the life sciences, and will prepare them to apply this knowledge in industrial or academic research settings.

The programme will immerse students in an active research environment. From the onset, students will be interacting with experienced researchers in the laboratory and familiarising themselves with state of the art research techniques. A series of transferable skills classes and seminars will empower students and will prepare them for the future so they have the skills required to succeed whatever direction they choose to take.
