Research summary
My research field is the philosophy of measurement. My paper, "Should Physical Laws be Unit-Invariant?", was published in the journal Studies in the History and Philosophy of Science A in December 2018. I gave a talk entitled "Are Angles Dimensionless?" at the "Making of Measurement" international conference in 2015 and have been a frequent contributor to the Integrated HPS Workshop.
I have written several articles that have not been "published" in the conventional sense. These include several articles for the History of Physics Group newsletter, and also:
Made in Hungary – The Story of the International Association of Physics Students (2011) - available at https://www.iaps.info/what-is-iaps/history/
A History of Early High Energy Physics Research at UCL - available at http://www.hep.ucl.ac.uk/history/history.shtml
Who Was Elizabeth Spreadbury? – a biography (available at http://www.hep.ucl.ac.uk/library/lizbiog.shtml)
Teaching summary
I have been attached to the 1st year teaching laboratory (Lab 1) since 2011. As well as demonstrating I provide administrative support to the course director, Paul Bartlett. I have also been involved in setting up the teaching lab web pages and the display of old instruments.
