Open Day for Prospective PhD Students

The Atomic Molecular Optical and Positron Physics group will be holding an Open Day on Wednesday December 3rd 2013.

The open day will start with lunch in E1 at 1:30pm. It will be followed by talks by academic staff at 2pm in A1 until 3:30pm. There will be a poster session in E7 from 3:30-5:00pm. Finally, at 3:45pm guided tours to our labs will be offered. 

Come along and find out more about working towards a PhD in our group! You'll get to hear about our research programs, talk to group members and potential supervisor as well as see our labs.

There are PhD opportunities in theoretical and experimental research in the following areas:

  • Attosecond, Strong-Field and Free-Electron Laser interactions
