Dr Victor Verdejo

I am a postdoctoral researcher at UCL (Beatriu de Pinos Fellow). I obtained my PhD at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and, before my current appointment at UCL, I have taken up postdoctoral positions in Madrid and Santiago de Compostela.

My research focuses mainly on the philosophy of mind and related areas of philosophy of language and cognitive science. I am especially interested in the study of concepts and their several metaphysical, epistemological and semantic aspects.

Topics addressed in my work so far include inferential role semantics, anti-individualism, normativity about content, concepts of artifacts, disagreement, attitude reports, the language of thought, systematicity, folk psychology and desire.
