Research summary
Research in the Browne Research Group focusses on the development of new methods for chemical synthesis and drug discovery.
We have a keen interest in exploring the use of enabling chemical reactor technologies such as mechanochemistry, ball milling, continuous processing and reactive extrusion. We aim to deliver processes which satisfy any one, or several of the following goals: enable alternative reactivity/selectivity, improve reproducibility, improve sustainability, improve process safety, improves our understanding of an under-explored technique.
Teaching summary
Duncan teaches and tutors organic chemistry and spectroscopy across all year groups including lectures, labs, workshops and projects.
