Abdul Basit, Alvaro Goyanes, Asma Buanz and Simon Gaisford identified as global scientific pioneers

For a third year in a row, Professors Abdul Basit, Simon Gaisford and Dr Alvaro Goyanes have been listed amongst the World’s Most Highly Cited Researchers by the Clarivate Web of Science™ group. Dr. Asma Buanz has also been awarded as Highly Cited Researcher 2021.

Every year, Clarivate™ identifies a select few who have been most frequently cited across 21 research fields. In 2021, 0.1% of the world’s researchers have earned this exclusive distinction.

Recognised for their exceptional research influence, Professor Abdul Basit, Professor Simon Gaisford and Dr Alvaro Goyanes of the UCL School of Pharmacy have received the honour of being Highly Cited Researchers for a third year in a row. Dr Asma Buanz, also from the UCL School of Pharmacy, has also joined the Highly Cited Researchers list of 2021.

This appointment from the Clarivate Web of Science™ group highights the vital, important output from the UCL School of Pharmacy to continuously innovate and improve futures.
