About us

Find out more about our approach to developing and providing education and training.

A crucial aspect of supporting clinical trials is the need for competent pharmacy staff skilled in research and Qualified Persons (QPs) which are essential for the manufacture of investigational Medicinal Products (IMP). We describe here a new approach in developing and providing education and training. This work begins from an undergraduate pharmacy level right through to those working in specialist NHS research environments. This includes providing a personalized training programme for staff who wish to become QPs.

This initiative is a collaboration between London North West University Healthcare with the UCL School of Pharmacy, this includes specific clinical trial training for:

  • Undergraduates
  • Post graduate Diploma students
  • Pre-registration Pharmacy Graduates
  • Consultant Pharmacists
  • Qualified Persons
