Job description
The purpose of this job is to support teaching and learning on our History and Theory of Art courses which form part of the BA Fine Art programme, working with the academic course leaders to deliver and contribute to sessions of teaching, seminar discussions, writing workshops, presentation workshops and gallery/studio visits, as well as assistance with project work and marking, within the existing framework of the Slade degree programmes.

Key responsibilities
- Teaching assistance through the facilitation of seminars and/or workshops;
- Marking students' work;
- Class preparation and meeting with lecturers/module organisers

- Have an awareness of, and engagement in, debates concerning non-canonical approaches to art practice, the decolonisation of thought and art practice, and diversity within contemporary art
- Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, with students, academic and support staff at all levels
