Job description
The UCL Institute of Archaeology (IoA) has several Postgraduate Teaching Assistant (PGTA) roles available in the 2024/25 academic year. You can find further information about our programmes and modules via the IoA website: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/archaeology/study
Main duties of the post are tutorial class teaching, regular meetings with the course lecturer, provision of feedback to students, electronic attendance reporting and following up individual cases.

Key responsibilities
- Teaching assistance through the facilitation of seminars and/or workshops;
- Class preparation and meeting with lecturers/module organisers;
- After-class contact time with students, including time-tabled office hours;
- Dissertation co-supervision at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level(s);
- Laboratory demonstration;
- Marking students' work;
- Giving feedback to students;
