Job description
The purpose of this job is to support teaching and learning in the practical skills module, in particular tissue culture. The role will involve working with the academic module lead through the delivery of small group teaching for students taking modules in the Division of Surgery and Interventional Science.
Main duty of the post is to support face-to-face practical classes and practical assessment.
Teaching Assistants will be given training in support of their roles. Experience of tissue culture and general molecular biology would be an advantage but is not essential.
PGTAs are expected to be able to commit be present on the Bloomsbury campus during the dates for which teaching is allocated.

- Laboratory demonstration;
- Giving feedback to students;
- Class preparation and meeting with lecturers/module organisers
Requirements for role
Experience of tissue culture and general molecular biology would be an advantage but is not essential.
