The role involves teaching fortnightly small-group seminars linked to topics covered as part of the syllabus (e.g. Homeric epic; philosophical dialogue; Roman love poetry) and to support students in preparing, writing, and subsequently engaging in oral academic discussion of an individual research essay, the topic of which is agreed individually between the student and the Course Tutor. The role also includes teaching some beginners' Latin language workshops.
