Job description
The main purpose of the Post Graduate Teaching Assistant role within the Centre for Doctoral Education is to facilitate sessions for doctoral students that form part of the IOE’s research training programme, which may include:
- the IOE MPhil/PhD Core Course;
- the post-upgrade workshop;
- Qualitative Data Analysis;
- Quantitative Data Analysis Courses
- the IOE Doctoral Community student-led engagement scheme
- IOE CDE Poster Conference, Summer school and Conference.

Key responsibilities
- Class preparation and meeting with lecturers/module organisers;
- Giving feedback to students
Requirements for role
You will be educated to Masters degree level (or having equivalent experience), in a related field and working towards a PhD in a social sciences subject (on completion of the PhD, you will no longer be eligible to participate in this PGTA scheme)
