Job description

The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources (BSEER) is recruiting a cohort of Postgraduate Teaching Assistants (PGTAs) to support education across the department this academic year 2025/26.

The purpose of this role is to support and work with the academic leads on small group teaching and learning across our programmes.

Key responsibilities

  • Teaching assistance through the facilitation of seminars and/or workshops;
  • Class preparation and meeting with lecturers/module organisers;
  • After-class contact time with students, including time-tabled office hours;
  • Laboratory demonstration;
  • Marking students' work;
  • Giving feedback to students
