Job description
PGTAs support teaching and learning in our modules, working with the academic module leads through the delivery and/or facilitation of teaching for students taking modules in the department.
For this module the main duties of the post normally consist of meeting(s) with the module lead, and supporting modules leads in practical lab sessions supporting the use of specialist software and workflows, and providing guidance and feedback to students on technical work. They will facilitate student learning in sound spatialisation, and immersive techniques.
They will also support setup, calibration, and maintenance of spatial audio studios, loudspeaker arrays, and related audio systems.

Key responsibilities

Requirements for role
PGTAs will need knowledge of audio software and hardware. These may include Reaper, Ambisonics, Max MSP, multichannel and object-based systems, spatialisation plugins, routing, and system configuration.
