Job description
The PGTA will support the Module Lead in running postgraduate practical lab sessions supporting the use of specialist software and workflows, and providing guidance and feedback to students on technical work. They will facilitate student learning in critical listening, sound spatialisation, and immersive techniques.
They will also support setup, calibration, and maintenance of spatial audio studios, loudspeaker arrays, and related audio systems.

Key responsibilities
- Teaching assistance through the facilitation of seminars and/or workshops;
- Laboratory demonstration;
- Giving feedback to students
Requirements for role
PGTAs will need knowledge of audio software and hardware. These may include Reaper, Ambisonics, multichannel and object-based systems, spatialisation plugins, routing, and system configuration.
