Job description
UCL Anthropocene is looking for expressions of interest for Postgraduate Teaching Assistants (PGTAs) in term 2 of the 2024/25 academic year to teach on the new Anthropocene Studies module. PGTA-delivered seminars will be on a Monday afternoon and PGTAs will be expected to attend the Faculty-led masterclass on a Thursday afternoon.
If required, the PGTAs will be given training in support of their roles. The post is open to postgraduate research students from across the social and historical sciences and humanities. Applicants are welcome from all these fields. Although the course is administered by the Department of Geography, its students come from a range of disciplines, as will the module's contents and there is no expectation that applicants should have a training in Geography.

Key responsibilities
- Teaching assistance through the facilitation of seminars and/or workshops;
- Class preparation and meeting with lecturers/module organisers;
- Marking students' work;
- Giving feedback to students
