The 2015 British Psychological Society and New Savoy Conference Staff Wellbeing Survey highlighted concerns about the wellbeing of psychological professionals.
This led to the launch of the Psychological Professionals Wellbeing and
Resilience Charter which
aims to promote a greater focus on staff psychological wellbeing, models of
ensuring good psychological wellbeing at work, the co-creation of compassionate
workplaces and sustainable services. It also seeks to encourage organisations to commit to
monitor and improve the psychological wellbeing of their staff.
Collaborative Learning Network (CLaN)
In order to implement the Charter, a Collaborative
Learning Network (CLaN) was set up in 2016. The CLaN has adopted a number of pathfinder sites and projects which are spearheading work aimed at improving wellbeing in the workplace. The HOP-MHP project is one such pathfinder project.
