Swiss Re is one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, working to make the world more resilient. We anticipate and manage a wide variety of risks, from natural catastrophes and climate change to cybercrime.

At Swiss Re we combine experience with creative thinking and cutting-edge expertise to create new opportunities and solutions for our clients. This is possible thanks to the collaboration of more than 13,000 employees across the world.

We offer a flexible working environment where curious and adaptable people thrive.

As the first reinsurer with a dedicated behavioural economics team since 2013, we have amassed deep, global understanding in how to nudge behaviour at every step of the customer journey. We have completed more than 150+ live research trials in partnership with our clients in more than 30 countries.

The behavioural economics community at Swiss Re consists of a central R&D and innovation team who translate novel insights from academia into insurance-relevant outcomes, as well as individuals applying behavioural science concepts with clients.

Watch this video of our CEO, Christian Mumenthaler, speaking about the necessity of understanding human behaviour and cognitive biases for the insurance industry!

We have three open positions for summer interns this year – please find the job descriptions below. Deadline is 2 May.
