This is where the real flexibility is. For the Theoretical Frameworks (PALSGM02) module you will attend four postgraduate taught modules over two terms, two in each term. Each term you will complete a cross-disciplinary mini-project which examines aspects of both modules.
You can select from any of the modules offered in the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences (and sometimes others) in consultation with the Programme Director. This is what makes it difficult to predict the timetable of an MRes SLC student.
It's important to note that you will complete the assessment for PALSGM02, not for the individual modules you follow, and you will not register on the individual modules though you should attend all of the teaching events.
In the first week of term you will have an opportunity to meet with the Programme Director to discuss your research interests and they will be able to help you find modules which would be appropriate and interesting for you.
