Simon Busch Moreno

The general goal of my research is exploring the relationship between language and affection. More specifically, my interest lies in observing the effects of emotional prosody and emotional semantics on anxious people’s language processing. To this aim, I use both behavioural and brain imaging approaches to distinguish possible hemispheric differences while affective language is processed. The first stage of this research project focuses on dichotic listening tasks and EEG recordings, not discarding other possible approaches in the future.
