Melissa Jhurry

I am interested in using an interdisciplinary approach, combining neuroscience, social psychology and economic theory to investigate the nature of social cognition in economic contexts. My current project investigates the effect of various welfare system policy models on the regulation of social cognition levels and consequently, the attitudes towards welfare recipients and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.
