I work as a project manager and data manager for the Ecological Language project under Prof Gabriella Vigliocco. Here I help streamline the running of all kinds of aspects of the project, which studies language learning and processing in real-world settings.
Beyond this, my general research interests lie in speech perception and production, second language learning, sociolinguistics, and combinations of these. My research focusses on how children learn new sounds of a second or foreign language. What I try to find out is how differences in the training method and training input affected their learning patterns, and how children differed from adults in this.
I currently also teach various modules across the BSc Psychology and Language Sciences and MSc Speech and Language Sciences as well as doing other ad hoc teaching in the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences at UCL.
