My research focuses on the computational modelling of semantic representations and processes. More specifically, I am interested in learning how semantic cognition is shaped by the interaction between language, perception and action. My current approach employs tools and concepts from computational linguistics, computer vision and network science, in order to study the representational differences between concrete and abstract words, as well as their effect on automatic semantic processing.
