Sea Hero Quest is a free adventure game for smartphones in which players control ships and battle enemies. According to Hugo Spiers, it aims to become the world’s biggest source of data about people’s spatial awareness which will help researchers understand how people navigate their surroundings and hopefully provide a massive normative database that could be helpful in the early diagnosis of dementias.
