“Spatial navigation changes in preclinical and clinical Alzheimer’s disease”

Abstract: “In my talk I will present data showing how Alzheimer’s disease pathology affects spatial navigation networks in the brain. More specifically, how does Alzheimer pathology affect allo- and egocentric processes and whether such changes can be already detected before significant memory problems occur. I will also show some preliminary data on how these spatial navigation changes impact on real-world navigation in dementia patients and contribute to patients getting lost in the environment.”
