Individual and Team Entrepreneurial Talent

Use our rigorously validated psychometric and situational judgement tests in order to identify the entrepreneurial personality traits, and cognitive and behavioural styles of employees, leaders, entrepreneurs, as well as teams. We offer certification workshops for each of our assessments.

Measure of Entrepreneurial Tendencies and Abilities (META): The most widely validated tool globally, of entrepreneurial personality characteristics. META identifies a persons score relative to the working population on 4 core Entrepreneurial Traits: Opportunism, Creativity, Proactivity, and Vision. This assessment predicts the style in, and extent to, which a person will act entrepreneurially and succeed in doing so.

Narrow Entrepreneurial Tendencies (NET): A new tool extended from META to measure entrepreneurial personality characteristics from 8 detailed aspects : Originality, Pattern-recognition, Action-initiation, Goal-focus, Influentialness, Improvement-orientation, Realism, and Future-orientation. NET differs from META such that it encompasses facet-level traits – characterized by higher fidelity and specificity - of entrepreneurial personality and predicts a range of entrepreneurial performance outcomes. NET provides a comprehensive profile and granular understanding of individuals’ strengths and weaknesses with respect to entrepreneurial success.

Scenario-Based Measure of Entrepreneurial Decision-Making Strategies: An innovative scenario-based assessment of a host of decision-making strategies that individuals can adopt when attempting to create innovation and gather support for new products, methods, or services in new or established organisations.

The tool assesses individuals’ tendency to make use of the following strategies in their business-related decision-making: Planning, Maximise returns, Competitiveness, Resourcefulness, Affordable loss, Collaboration, and Experimentation. These strategies have been shown to enable individuals to successfully create innovation within entrepreneurially oriented organisations.

Entrepreneurial culture audit

Entrepreneurial Culture Measure (ECM): A validated measure of a firm’s entrepreneurial culture. ECM identifies the extent to which people (employees, managers, leadership) within the organisation feel their firms’ culture allows and encourages them to engage in entrepreneurial activities. The ECM identifies 4 cultural components of entrepreneurial culture: Innovation Support, Innovation Reward, Information Sharing, Visionary Leadership.

Workshops

We provide different workshops for different objectives. These are developed based on scientific evidence and research and delivered by experts in the respective area of work.

Certification workshops (1 day): the purpose of these workshops is to develop a deep understanding of the tool of interest. This is usually for people or organisations that aim to apply the tool in particular contexts such as competency interviews, individual coaching, team building, or organisational change.

Self-development workshop (.5 day): this workshop is aimed at individual test-takers who want to understand their own profiles; what it means, what implications it has for their performance and career, and how to use it to develop and improve themselves. 

Organisational (custom) workshops (1 or 2 days): the aim of these workshops can vary from team building/development, to organisational or cultural change, and leadership development. These workshops are more customised to the context and the organisation in question and usually involve deeper understanding and analysis of the profiles and individual, team, or organisation level advice and consulting.   

Train the trainer workshop (2 days): We also provide a ‘train the trainer’ session where we upskill individuals to the level of being able to train others to use the tool.
