Exploring CST Event

Do you practice Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) in your organisation? Would you like to share best practice and hear from people delivering CST from around the region?
Attend the Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust 'Exploring CST Event', where there will be a number of presentations and case studies from people who deliver CST and there will also be an opportunity to hear about the benefits from people who live with dementia. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
When: Thursday 16th May 09:00 - 16:15. Registration from 08:30, first presentaiton at 10:00.

Professor Richard Walker is a Consultant at North Tyneside General Hospital and Honorary Professor of Ageing and International Health at Newcastle University. Professor Walker will deliver a talk on his experience of adapting and piloting CST in sub-Saharan Africa.
3rd International Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) Conference
10-11th June 2019 - Missouri, USA
Saint Louis University Gateway Geriatric Education Center hosted the 3rd International CST Conference in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. One-hundred and forty people representing 11 countries attended the 2-day event which included eight main presentations and nine two-hour workshops. CST founders Professors Aimee Spector, Martin Orrell and Bob Woods attended and gave presentations on the use of CST around the world and how to enhance CST using technology. The second day of the conference included CST training for professionals and students interested in facilitation by Prof Spector and a track for experienced CST facilitators by Prof Berg-Weger.
