Professor Leslie Gutman

Leslie is Professor of Applied Development and health psychology and Programme Director of the MSc in Behaviour Change.  She is also a Research Associate for the Early Intervention Foundation, as well as Associate Editor of the Journal of Adolescence. Her research interests include developmental transitions in adolescence and young adulthood, the study of risk and resilience, mental health and wellbeing, aspirations and attainment and school-based interventions.  She has led research projects commissioned from governmental agencies such as the Department for Education, Early Intervention Foundation and Cabinet Office and conducted program evaluations of schools, after-school youth programmes, and interventions.
