I joined the Institute of Education in 2009 to work on a Department of Health funded study into Stress in Children at the Thomas Coram Research Unit. I then worked in collaboration with the Institute of Psychiatry on another Department of Health funded study into Behavioural and Emotional Dimensions in Children.
Before joining the IOE I worked as a research interviewer on a longitudinal study into adolescent offending at the University of Cambridge, and also as a Broadcast Journalist.
I started at the Centre for Research in Autism Education in February 2013. Alongside my work here I am also studying for a PhD. The current name of my thesis is "Factors associated with teachers' identification of anxiety and functional somatic symptoms in their pupils."
