Research summary
My research focuses on the development of different aspects of syntax and pragmatics in children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, Williams syndrome and Developmental Language Disorder (Specific Language Impairment), in English and cross-linguistically. I am also interested in bilingual/EAL typical and atypical language development.
Teaching summary
I teach clinical linguistics on the MSc Speech and Language Sciences, a professional degree leading to a qualification in speech and language therapy. I supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects on topics related to language acquisition in typical and atypical development, in monolingual and bilingual/EAL speakers.
