PALS wins third Athena SWAN silver award

The Division of Psychology and Language Sciences has been awarded its third Athena SWAN silver medal in recognition of its initiatives to address the gender imbalance in academia and in providing a supportive environment for all staff.

Launched in June 2005, the Athena SWAN charter recognises and celebrates good employment practices for those working in higher education and research. It aims to assist the recruitment, retention and promotion of those in higher education and promote good practice.

PALS Athena SWAN Silver Award will last until 2020.
