PALS Staff Recognised in Prestigious UCL Education Awards

Several UCL PALS staff members have been honoured in the recent UCL Education Awards.

Dr Fiona Kyle, from the Deafness, Cognition, and Language Research Centre (DCAL), won the coveted Student Choice Award for Brilliant Research-based Education. Stephen Bloch, Head of Language and Cognition, praised this recognition, highlighting the challenge of demonstrating educational excellence. Dr Kyle’s award underscores her impact on students through her innovative research-based teaching.
Charlotte Patient, a BSc Psychology student, received the FBS Academic Rep of the Year award. With over 2,000 Academic Reps, her recognition underscores her exceptional contributions to student advocacy in Psychology and Language Sciences.
Additionally, Fleur Corbett and Katie Fisher were runners-up for the Provost Education Award, acknowledged for their efforts in improving the student experience.
These accolades highlight the dedication and excellence of PALS staff, contributing to UCL's reputation as a leading global educational institution.
