Join us on Zoom for an engaging webinar that explores the critical role of neuroscience in understanding the needs of care-experienced young people. We will explore recent research developments in the area and consider their implications for the ways in which children in care can most effectively be supported. We will look at how psychological interventions can be structured with an understanding of this neuroscientific research.
You'll also get an introduction to our new PG Diploma program Child and Adolescent Psychology and Neuroscience in Practice (CAPNiP) being offered by the Anna Freud Centre and UCL, which provides an in-depth exploration of these important topics, with an opportunity for questions at the end.
This webinar is part of a series to launch our new postgraduate distance learning programme starting in September 2023. Each webinar will provide a taster of some of the key topics that will be taught on the programme, along with more general programme information and how to apply.
