Developmental Proteome of Drosophila melanogaster
The aim of the project is to advance knowledge of developmental biology by studying the developmental proteome of fruit fly.
This is part of a team of people working on a BBSRC sLoLa grant that will be generating quantitative proteomic data at different embryonic stages. We will also attempt to identify significant portions of the isoformal proteome and develop tools to predict functional consequences of the alternative splicing that generate these isoforms.
