Open education

Tools for UCL staff and students

This page provides an overview of tools available to UCL staff and students which support different types of open educational practice.

  • UCL (CampusPress) Student Blog: This blog gives UCL students the opportunity to write short reviews of OER that are relevant to their studies.
  • UCL MyPortfolio (login may be required) can be used as a portfolio, CV builder, blog, or for social networking; it connects UCL students and staff and supports the creation of online communities. MyPortfolio provides you with the tools to set up a personal learning environment and can also be used to support group work.
  • UCL Reflect (login may be required) allows students and staff to use blogging for teaching and learning purposes.

View the 'Where to find OER' page to explore different resources, including open research data, which can be used for teaching and learning.
