Special interest group (SIG)

As part of the ongoing OE project, we are meeting with key figures and practitioners interested in open education on a monthly basis. This is to support the development and promotion of open educational practice and the OER repository within the institution.

At each SIG meeting we will provide an update on the project's activities and will present a theme for discussion. Details of themes can be found below, alongside the dates and times of meetings. An overview of open education and the UCL project will be provided to any newcomers.

The SIG meetings are a sounding-board space to share and explore ideas, discuss approaches and challenges, and collaborate to find solutions, and can focus on any number of topics: how to embed practice, IPR, content management, policy implementation, and so on. Although members are encouraged to contribute, this is not mandatory!

If you would like to join us at upcoming SIG meetings, these are open to everyone at UCL; please come along!
