Study on sleep, disordered eating and psychosocial functioning

17 April 2018

This new online study aims to examine the role of poor sleep in disordered eating and psychosocial functioning (i.e. self-perception, work performance, interpersonal functioning) in young women.

Wellbeing

We're hoping this study will help to inform timely, cost-effective prevention and intervention efforts aimed at supporting individuals at high-risk of developing eating disorders.

Who can take part?

  • Women living in the UK
  • Aged 18-30 years

You don't need to have or have had a sleep or eating disorder to participate; we are hoping to hear from women with a range of experiences with sleeping and eating.

What does the study involve?

Participants will be invited to complete a series of brief questionnaires which should take 30-45 minutes. All answers will be recorded anonymously.

The study is voluntary and will be conducted entirely online. Upon the completion of the study, you will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win a £20 Amazon voucher.

Please note that one of the questionnaires in this study will ask you about your current weight.
