10. Grant Museum of Zoology

The Grant Museum is full of the weird and wonderful, including the incredible Micrarium - a back-lit cave of 2300 microscope slides giving a glimpse of the vast diversity of animal life.

4. Cruciform Building

Named for its aerial view in the shape of a cross, the striking red brick Cruciform Building was designed in 1896 as a hospital and only became a part of UCL in 1995.

Strolling through Gordon Square Garden is a great escape from London's bustling city life and is especially stunning during spring and autumn.

2. The Flaxman Gallery

The Flaxman Gallery featuring 'St. Michael Overcoming Satan' is the largest collection of works by British sculptor John Flaxman. The gallery also appeared in UCL alumnus Christopher Nolan's film Inception!
