Would you like to take the stress out of your day in only 10 minutes?

8 October 2015

Life can be stressful.

Would you like to take the stress out of your day in only 10 minutes? It can be hard to keep up with the demands of study, employment and the fast pace of living in London. Mindfulness, however, has been scientifically proven to reduce stress, increase focus and overall feelings of happiness and wellbeing.

With UCL's 10 Minute Mind programme you can learn to manage your stress and be happier in only 10 short minutes a day.

Over the course of a month you will receive a daily short guided mindfulness track via email. All you need to do is take 10 minutes to sit somewhere quiet, put your headphones on and listen. It's that easy.

Stress reduction

At the end of the month you will be asked to fill out a short survey to help evaluate the effectiveness of the programme in helping reduce stress. The programme has been devised by Monique Rhodes, who works for His Holiness the Dalai Lama and has also been teaching mindfulness for over a decade, and is being delivered in conjunction with UCL's Student Psychological Services.
