Share your views on a new online programme for new students and earn £30 B. Due to high demand we're no long taking workshop applications, but you can still sign up if you would like to be involved in future activity.

UCL is developing an innovative online programme for undergraduate students who are about to begin their first year at UCL. Although in its early stages, the programme is intended to show off the best of the university - our finest minds, our interdisciplinary strengths, the difference we make in solving the world's problems as well as providing practical information such as what it's really like to be a student here, where to go for help and advice and how to find your way around UCL and London.

We are now looking for a diverse group of students from a range of undergraduate degrees and years of study to share what they think should be included.

When will the workshop take place?

During the first half of term 1 (date to be confirmed).

How long will it last?

Approximately 3.5 hours, across one morning or afternoon. Refreshments will be provided.

What will the workshop involve?

Via a series of activities and discussions you will be asked to offer your honest thoughts and opinions on the structure of the proposed online programme - what it should include, who it should be aimed at, how it should be delivered, how students can be involved in the development and what it should called.

Who will be there?

A range of UCL undergraduates, pupils from UCL's partner schools and UCL staff who are working on the structure and content of the Programme.

Will I get paid?

Following the workshop you will be emailed £30 worth of Amazon vouchers.

How can I take part?

If you would be interested in participating please complete this Google form. We will be asking for the following:

  • Your name
  • What country you are from
  • What you are studying
  • What year you are in
  • Which department you are in
  • Whether you are happy to be contacted about similar opportunities in the future.

Application deadline

Further opportunities

Applications are on a first come, first served basis as we will be aiming to have a spread of students across years, degree programmes and backgrounds.

If you have indicated on the form you are happy to hear from us we'll keep you informed of further opportunities to get involved as we move through the development of the programme.
