ISD to host dissertation clinic

Following a successful introduction last year, ISD Training will once again offer dissertation clinics over the summer period.

Participants needed for online survey about online victimisation The training will take place on 27 August from 10am to 1pm in DMS Watson G15.

The aim of the clinic is to support students who are using Microsoft Word or LaTeX to write their dissertations or theses and need help with features such as tables of content, page numbering, footnotes, headers and footers.

ISD Training can also help with using bibliographic tools such as Endnote. These sessions are run on a drop in basis: there is no need to book, just turn up and you will be seen on a first come, first served basis.  

Please note that ISD Training cannot help you with the content of your dissertation (including language, spelling and punctuation) and it is your responsibility to be familiar with the submission guidelines for your department.
