Monday Museum Meditation sessions

This term the Chaplain & Interfaith Advisor and the UCLU Mindfulness Society are running Monday Museum Meditation sessions.

From 25 April, these sessions will take place every Monday (except the Bank Holidays when UCL is closed) from 12:15-12:45pm in the UCL Art Museum.

Each week will consist of a short meditation practice and anyone is welcome to attend; whether you are a beginner to meditation, have an established practice or simply want to have some time for quiet and reflection during the stressful exam term.

Mindfulness meditation uses breathing and movement techniques to help you to become more aware of thoughts, emotions and sensations and subsequently help you manage stress and pressure in everyday life.

For more information about these sessions, please contact the Chaplain, Charlotte Bradley.

Mindfulness Meditation Resources

If you are interested but unable to attend, you may wish to look through UCL Student Psychological Services Mindfulness Meditation Resources where you can find links to online mindfulness courses, books and podcasts.

Mindfulness has been known to help people cope with stress levels, manage anxiety or depression, improve concentration and increase energy levels - skills that you may find particularly beneficial in the during exam season.
