Master's students: take our postgraduate survey and win up to £500

16 March 2017

UCL Master's, PG Dip, PG Cert and PGCE students are joining students from over 100 other UK universities in taking the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey this month.

Master’s students: take our postgraduate survey and win up to £500 The survey, which is anonymous, asks postgraduate taught students about their experiences of studying here.

What's the survey about?

The survey aims to capture the range of priorities and expectations of postgraduate taught students, which are often very different to those of undergraduates. The questions cover the teaching and learning experience, dissertation support, feedback from assessments, support services and course organisation.

How to take the survey

Look out for an email on Friday with your personal link to the survey, or go to https://ucl.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/ptes2017 and login with your student number (number on the front of your student ID card) and your date of birth as password.

The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete and we'll be giving away 500 £5 shopping vouchers to students who take part. We'll also give one lucky participant £500 in cash in a prize draw once the survey has closed.

Why should I complete the survey?

Making improvements relies on having an accurate and up-to-date understanding of your priorities.

Recent improvements as a result of your feedback have included:

  • Longer UCL Careers appointments
  • Dedicated postgraduate study areas
  • Ongoing improvements to the way you receive feedback on your work

To see more results, including from your department last year, go to the You Shape UCL webpage.
