We are looking for students and staff members to come and be filmed reading the novel's opening paragraphs, to create a short film promoting 1984 Live.

To apply, email a short video of yourself reading the opening paragraph of Orwell's 1984 (online here) to info@theorwellprize.co.uk for the attention of Steph Le Lievre. If you have any questions, contact Steph at stephanie.lelievre@theorwellprize.co.uk.

The deadline for applications is Friday 3 March. We will contact those shortlisted by Friday 10 March. Filming will take place outside Senate House on the afternoon of Wednesday 22 March. Filming will take about 20 minutes.
