Over the course of the 2014/15 academic year, we asked our students on Instagram to share their UCL experience in photographs using #loveUCL.
We received almost 2,000 entries in total, ranging from stunning shots of UCL's iconic buildings to images featuring events and activities taking place around campus.
Each month, we selected our 'photo of the month', which was featured in the myUCL all-student e-newsletter, on the official UCL Facebook page and on the official UCL Instagram page.
Our eight monthly winning images were then put forward for a vote to be named UCL's 'photo of the year', and its owner the recipient of a £100 Amazon voucher.
With roughly 30% of the 1,000 votes cast on Facebook and Instagram, Shafiq Azid (Language Sciences MSc) is this year's overall winner with his striking shot of the Grant Museum of Zoology's Micrarium.
