Is UCL an LGBTQ+ inclusive employer? Share you views in the Stonewall 2018 staff feedback survey

25 August 2017

UCL has its sights on achieving a place in the in the next few years.

Workplace Stonewall is the leading Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) rights charity and its index ranks employers' LGBTQ+ inclusive practice.

It's very challenging and hugely competitive with over 400 organisations participating. One part of the process is giving staff (both LGBTQ+ and non-LGBTQ+) the opportunity to tell Stonewall directly - through an anonymous survey - what they think of UCL in this regard.

"Talented LGBTQ+ people (and others) across the UK look to the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index to seek employers with a good reputation on equality, diversity and inclusion that they may wish to work for. We know that a positive reputation in LGBTQ+ equality can be an influential factor for LGBTQ+ students' university choice too. By participating in the index we can reflect upon the good work we have done and identify what else may need to be done. In arguably the biggest and most diverse city in the world, UCL is certainly well placed to be one of the leaders in LGBTQ+ equality - that is certainly our aim." - Professor Anthony Smith, UCL LGBTQ+ Equality Champion

Please share your views via the Stonewall 2018 staff feedback survey. You must use the code 1666 so that the results are attributed to UCL. You can complete the survey in 5 minutes.

The questionnaire will close on Friday 3 November 2017.
