Magna Charta Observatory statement concerning universities in Turkey

As a signatory of the Magna Charta Universitatum, a shared statement of academic freedom and institutional autonomy as a guideline for good governance and self-understanding of universities in the future, UCL would like to express support for the statement of the Magna Charta Observatory regarding the treatment of Turkish universities and academics in the aftermath of the failed coup of July 15 2016.
