UCL academics needed: open access research in online repositories

16 July 2014

Do you have a few minutes to spare? UCL academics are being asked for their opinions on developments in open access research and how libraries might help facilitate this.

If you are a member of UCL academic staff who publishes their research (whether this is online or otherwise) and wish to participate in the brief survey, which should only take a few minutes to complete, please do so here: https://opinio.ucl.ac.uk/s?s=31203

The research will feature in a Master's dissertation focused on investigating if and how academics choose to make their research freely accessible online, and their opinions about doing so.

For more information, please contact Ciara Murray (UCL Information Studies): c.murray.13@ucl.ac.uk

The survey is collecting anonymised non-sensitive data, and has been approved as being in line with UCL ethical standards by both the Head of Department and the Departmental Ethics Committee of the Department of Information Studies.

Please contact the MA LIS Programme Director Anne Welsh, a.welsh@ucl.ac.uk, if you have any questions or concerns.
