UCL Institute of Education staff: Closure days leave year 2014-2015

Both UCL and the UCL Institute of Education staff receive six closure days each leave year, in addition to their normal holiday allowance.

In 2014-2015 these fall on slightly different days. UCL IOE staff therefore have a closure day on Friday 28 August 2015, which UCL does not.

UCL IOE will be closed on this day. For those members of staff who have transferred into UCL departments, they can choose to take this as a closure day or to take an alternative day as holiday, with the agreement of their Head of Department.

Staff who are working at UCL IOE but on UCL contracts will also be able to take this closure day. From 1 October 2015 the closure days will be the same for UCL and UCL IOE: the dates will be published on the relevant websites.
